Gaddy Engineering Company (Gaddy) was established in 1967 to provide professional natural resource management, natural resource valuations, mining engineering, and geological consulting services.  Gaddy’s engineering and geologic consulting services include mine permit applications, environmental site assessments, remediation liability assessments, mine designs, reserve studies, and economic valuations. 

Gaddy provides management and engineering services for approximately 400,000 acres of land in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Virginia for more than 30 estates, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. Gaddy has a staff of 10 dedicated professionals.  These include professional engineers, professional geologists, professional foresters, technicians, and support personnel.  The combined experience of our natural resource management personnel totals more than 200 years.  With this experience and expertise, Gaddy’s land management clients are assured that their property assets are being managed in a manner that meets their individual goals. 

Gaddy has served many facets of the natural resource and mining industries including coal, oil and gas, limestone, sand and gravel, heavy mineral sands, timber, small-scale hydroelectric project development, and environmental compliance services.
